From their single album “Fate Number Four” released on April 4, 2017. This song falls eight places, in its fourth week in the ranking, after being two consecutive weeks in first place, during its first two weeks.
A fresh love song, in which a guy, deeply in love with a girl, tells her everything what she makes him feel, and that for him, she is the most beautiful thing his eyes saw. Feeling small and nervous, he asks her to accept his heart.
09. Black6ix – Please
Released as single album, on April 7, 2017. This song falls two places in our kpop ranking.
A boy loves the girl he is with, but he is afraid that she will leave him because he has nothing but his love for her. He asks her to trust him and stay by his side, even though he can’t give her what she wants now. He ask her saying please, because she's the only thing he has.
08. Hyorin & Changmo – Blue Moon
Falling three places this week and being two weeks in our ranking. Song released as single on April 14, 2017.
In the lyrics of the song, a boy and a girl declare their love and express how each of them can’t live without the other. She is the princess who wants to rest in his arms, and he is the gentleman who will never leave her alone. Both feel they are walking on the moon.
07. Kim Hyung-jun – Count On You
From his third extended play album, “AM to PM 5-11-3” released on March 8, 2017. This song falls one place this week and it has six weeks in our kpop ranking.
Song about a relationship that ended. A boy can’t concentrate on anything, because the memories about her, returns. He walks in the street, in the place where they walked together before. But she is not there anymore. And still not knowing where to go, he feels lost. He just wanted to find her again at the end of his road.
06. CNBLUE – Between Us
Song of their seventh Korean extended play album, “7CN”, released on march 20, 2017. This album commemorates their seventh anniversary. In its fifth week in the kpop ranking, falls three positions.
A song about a relationship between a couple of friends, which is in ambiguous terrain. Is It the end of friendship and the beginning of a new relationship? He feels confused and in shock and his heart beats louder and louder for her.
05. K.A.R.D – Rumor
New release this week in our ranking. This is the third project by this nice mixed group (two girls and two boys) before their official debut. This song was released as single, on April 24..
A song about a couple, after they broke up. Both hear rumors about the other, telling they have already found someone else. The rumors destroy them, because they still can’t forget and wish they could have another opportunity for their relationship. They hope rumors are false, because no one believes that the other would forget them that easily.
04. FTISLAND – Shadows
This song remains in the same place as previous week in our kpop ranking, and has three weeks now in the weekly top 10. From their seventh full length Japanese album, “United Shadows”, released on April 12, 2017. This is a commemorative album, for their tenth anniversary.
The lyrics shows us someone searching for the meaning of his existence, going always forward, fighting in the shadows to reach the light in his path. Having hope on a better destiny.
03. BTS – Spring Day
Title song of their full length album, “You Never Walk Alone” released on February 13, 2017. It climbs five places and has five weeks in our kpop ranking.
In the lyrics of the song, a boy misses that girl that left him. For him, it is winter as long as she is far. He wants to forget her so that it does not hurt so much, but he can’t. He longs to be able to see her again, so that spring comes again to his life..
02. IU – Palette
A song that climbs a lot this week in our kpop ranking, jumping from tenth place to second, in its second week. Main song of her full length album, “Palette”, released on April 21, 2017.
A song in where she, IU, talks about herself, her different tastes, the difficulties she has to go through, because of malicious people. But although being different, she feels pretty and likes herself. Above all, she accepts herself and learned to know herself every day. In the song we can listen to the good rap of G-Dragon, member and leader of BigBang, in a great collaboration.
01. Highlight – Plz Don’t Be Sad
A song from their extended play album “Can You Feel It", released on March 20, 2017. This week, it stays in first place, for two weeks in a row, in its third week in the kpop ranking.
A boy tells his girl, that he will always be there for her and that he does not want to see her ever sad. That it causes him great pain to see her like that, and that he is willing to bear her sorrows himself, as long as can see her happy. All he wants is to be able to protect her. And he does not need anyone but her.
